Booking with Sensational World for individuals
Sensational World charges 30% deposit of the full amount at the time of booking for. After you have submitted your booking with us, we will review the booking details and send you a confirmation email and a proforma invoice within 7 days (Monday through Friday).
Terms of payment
A non-refundable deposit of 30% will be charged upon a booking confirmation. The remainder of the booking will be charged one month prior to arrival. For all bookings made within a month prior to arrival, a full payment will be required at the time of confirmation.
If payments are not received in time as per above, Sensational World will cancel all service requested.
Cancellation must be sent by email to Sensational world to email@example.com. The cancellation must be confirmed by Sensational World to be valid.
The original deposit paid is non-refundable.
Cancellations of confirmed bookings are as follows:
- 31 days or more prior to arrival the deposit will be kept as cancellation fee
- 31 days – 10 days 50% of the program cost will be kept as cancellation fee
- 10 days – 3 days 75% of the program cost will be kept as cancellation fee
- Less than 3 days (72 hours) prior to arrival the full payment will be kept as cancellation fee
The performance of the service confirmed is subject, but not limited to, Acts of God, war, terrorism, natural disasters or other events that are caused by reasonable control of the partners involved. The service agreement may be terminated for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from one party to the other.
Parties understand and agree that the laws of Iceland will be applied in interpreting or resolving conflict that arises from the terms of this agreement.
Sensational World reserves the right to change the rates in case of economic changes, including but not limited to, currency fluctuations, inflation, increased cost of supply, tax changes and other similar events.
Payment in ISK
Payment will be charged in local currency. (ISK). Sensational World does not take responsibility for fluctuations in the exchange rate from the date of booking to the date of payment.
Complaints by Traveller
If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant service provider (e.g. hotel) immediately so that they can endeavour to put things right. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, your complaint must reach Sensational World within 14 days from departure from Iceland. Otherwise, any possible compensation is not valid.
Sensational World considers adequate travel insurance to be essential. Sensational World cannot accept responsibility for any cost for you or any of your travel party that may incur as a result of failing to take out insurance cover. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance covers all your activities during your holiday, for example, water sports, riding tours, snow scooter tours and winter sports. Please read your policy carefully and take it with you on your holiday.
