In recent years cold showers and ice baths have been gaining popularity in the world. Exposure to the cold, however, has been used in the world for centuries. For example, the Romans would have practice of a cold plunge at their famous Roman baths complexes, which typically included a cool room (frigidarium) at its heart with a cold-water basin. Exposure to the cold has been linked by scientist to various health benefits such as reduced inflammation, swelling and sore muscles, increased metabolism speed, improved sleep quality and more. Many athletes have even started using ice baths and cold exposure after physical exercise to speed up their recovery.

About the teachers
Andri is a Transformational Coach, Cold Therapy, Mindset & Movement expert. A method that has impacted his life to the point to define himself to be “reborn”, the inflection point from where years of severe chronic lumbar pain and migraines simply disappeared. Inspired by mindset techniques, movement, cold therapy (Wim Hof Method certified Instructor) and other techniques, he is now dedicated to share his story aiming to guide others to be re-born into the same benefits.
Tanit is a Transformational Coach, Cold Therapy and Yoga teacher, specialized in ancient techniques for self-improvement, mental and spiritual healing as well as physical health. She comes from a long corporate background where her own burnout experience led her to understand the importance of a balanced life and strong connection to our own inner abilities. She blends yoga, ancient techniques, physical therapy and cold (Wim Hof Method certified Instructor) to take you to your next level.

Mindfulness, Meditation & Flow 2h | Tanit has a very unique and different approach to Yoga, using movements to create a space of awareness and connection, as a sense of movement meditation and deep release. Physically, mentally and emotionally. The session starts with breath-work to ground and relax every cell of our bodies, followed by soft conscious movement with some challenges that will teach you to trust your body’s ability and detach from the mental pressure and stress. All while immersing yourself in Iceland’s raw energy which invites for inner discoveries. Finishing the session in relaxation with sound healing where Tanit will play her beautiful instruments (Gong, Singing Bowls, Chimes and more). If weather allows the session will be outside (partly or fully) in the garden which is surrounded by Icelandic lava, known here to have powerful healing properties. |
Sound Healing 2h | Tanit starts the session with an introduction. Then she gives information about breathwork and slowly transitioning to full relaxation for a 1h sound healing session, followed by meditation |
Waves 2h | Movement Improvisation with Tanit. Soft movement guided to connect to any physical, mental or emotional state. Deeply releasing and grounding. There is music to enable further letting go. Everything is very soft and gentle. |
